Originally from Denver, with another location at 1 W. Grand Ave. in downtown Chicago, Rock Bottom has seized the microbrewery craze and put a tap on it. Handcrafted right in the on-location brewery by a resident brewmaster are a Chicago Gold malty ale, a Walleye Wheat malt, an Erik the Red Ale and a Brown Bear Brown ale. Other seasonal brew specialties are also on tap. Lofty decor features exposed brick walls, wooden booths, tables and chairs seating 300 and a huge bar. Food choices include asiago cheese dip served with beer bread, Mrs. Chow's Sizzling Shrimp Salad, Southwestern Shrimp and Chicken Pasta, fish and chips, chicken enchiladas and more. Perfect for family dining or a night out with friends, you'll rarely find a free table on a weekend night here.
