Combining beer and baseball -- two Chicago classics -- Goose Island Wrigleyville is in the middle of the thriving restaurant and bar scene near Wrigley Field. This baseball-themed version of the Clybourn original is a full brewery as well as a restaurant, serving bar food standards such as burgers, sandwiches and salads. In addition to a full bar and nine original beers on tap, the bar also serves Woodchuck Cider and Bud Light. (Can you hear the brewmaster crying?) Larger-than-life versions of Babe Ruth, "Shoeless" Joe Jackson, Lou Gehrig and six other baseball greats grace the back wall as a mural (though none of them played for the Cubs, Jackson came closest, playing for the Sox).

Despite the bad stigma of "bar food" this place had some good selections. I was overall pleased with the meals and definetly with the beer selections!
