Sounds like someone had a bad experience, but to each his won. I love this place. Good fun, good food, good times. Always a fun crowd. Not a bunch of suburbanites looking to be all macho. Just a bunch of drinkers looking to have a good time. Bring the ladies, they love this place...

The food is actually very good for a bar, but dont expect anything to knock your socks off (the mini-burgers are actually pretty awesome though). Regardless, this place is awesome. The perfect city bar. And the bartenders are always nice guys, too...

Make sure you try out the bar next door when Emmitt's gets too crowded. The place is called Richards and has the "Dream Team" bartenders Ricky and Fred. It's a must in the city.
