I've lived down the road from Corosh for the past six years, and four years ago I finally discovered the restaurant. I love it! It's a personal place for me. Anytime my best friend and I need to relax, we stop by for the great food and tasty bloody mary's. I've always loved the food, waitstaff, and kitchen staff. Everyone has been so friendly and obliging.
Last night I made my very first carry-out order from the restaurant. I made in the call and came in at around 10:45 pm. It wasn't busy at all; there were only two couples there. The bartender right away said to me, "You had the carry-out order?" And I said, yes. So she rang up the tab for me. Very friendly so far. I've never added a tip onto a tab for a carry-out order before. Am I wrong for this? Is there an amount I should tip for a carry-out order?
I signed the tap without a tip and put it aside on the bar, and nothing was said. Not, "It'll be right out," or "It'll be a few minutes." I just sat there and stared at the only two couples in the room, the artwork, and the bottles of liquor.
After a few more minutes, I saw the chef putting my order in a plastic bag. I knew it had to be my food, because noone else was there to order, and the other couples were winding down. The chef came out with the order and spoke with the bartender saying that this was the take out order. The bartender put the food at the end of the bar, didn't say a word to me, and went about her business wiping down tables. I was wondering why she wasn't giving me my food, but then I thought that maybe it was her carry-out and mine was next to come. So I waited a few more minutes. Finally, the chef came out and reminded her of the food that she placed at the end of the bar right next to her station. That is when she finally handed me my food.
Is this how I should have been treated for not giving her a tip?
I know if I ever see her working in there, I will never enter the restaurant. What a disappointment.

I've been to Corosh for dinner and thought the experience was decent. But brunch was the most disappointing meal I've had in a long time. Everything on the buffet was cold and too greasy to even eat. Even the fruit was surprisingly bad. Their only coffee was cinnamon flavored and the service was terrible – slow and not-so-friendly. Not to mention, it's about $14 for the pleasure.

I just went here for dinner for the first time and was blown away by the quality of the food, the quick, polite service, and the interesting decor. My friend commented that her perfectly prepared filet would have cost twice as much at any restaurant downtown. After our excellent entrees, we decided to order the tiramisu to share. It was so good we had to order another one. I will definitely go back.

I love Corosh...I never had to wait at the bar to get a drink...or at the door to get a table. Corosh has interesting art to look at and great music to listen to. Plus, they had a hot bartender!!!

Love the space... Love the mussels... But was so disappointed by the $8 burger that tasted like it came from a pre-made frozen patty. Come on!

My girlfriend and I have been going to Corosh for years but we'll never go back. We sat outside for about 15 minutes before we were even acknowledged. Some airhead took our drink order and that was another 15 minutes only to be served cranberry juice. We asked for the check and left!

I use to go to Corosh a lot. The staff has rotated a lot. They only have rude people working there. I have even been back after a bad experience hoping it was just a bad night-shame on me. Customer sevice is very important but not here. Its hard to enjoy the food& drinks when the wait staff make you seem like you are disturbing them.
