This is the best blues bar in Chicago! Very surpised by the poor reviews. We have been here at least four times and every time we come, we leave yearning for more. We have never had an issue with service. Everyone there is just looking to have a good time. The singers are soulful and sexy, even though they are older women. Even if you do not like blues music, you will here. I was never a fan until I came here, the energy is overwhelmingly positive, and you can't help but jump out of your seat to dance the night away. Compared to Kingston Mines, you can actually sit here if you choose to and it has a much more intimate setting as if it was your own private concert. This is a must if you are looking for a great time!
Report This ReviewOur first trip to Chicago and just happened by Blue Chicago. Not a fancy place which was comfortable and very affordable. Our little waitress was friendly and efficient. The band, Tenry Johns was one of the best ever! Upon the crowd growing larger into the evening, we were asked by the waitress to share our table and ended up meeting a wonderful couple to enjoy the evening with. Thanks a bunch!
Report This ReviewThis place has the worst service ever. We waited for a seat for an hour and the minute we sat there we had the waitress screaming if we had decided our food. She kept coming and yelling at us ever two minutes. Before we could finish eating she asked us if we were ready to leave. Worst was when the chque arrived she wrote by hand what we should be tipping her. This is the worst place i have been to in chicago. Never Go there.
Report This ReviewNot even one star!! I can't believe how poorly my 4 out-of-town friends and I were treated at this place. The doorman started an argument with me about which Blue Chicago location he thought I was asking about and the bartenders couldn't have been more rude. If you hate working in the hospitality industry so much that you have to make your patrons miserable to get through your shift, then you should have gotten a new job a couple of years ago. The bitterness shows and the chip on your shoulder just makes tourists (and locals they might be with) never want to return to your establishment. Ugh.
Report This ReviewThe employees are so rude here. See the same bands at nicer places around town.
