Food was very good, service was good, seemed a bit pricey for the dark log cabin look.. Definately try it out if your looking for steak.

After reading the bad reviews was a little bit apprehensive of going here for the first time but I had a gift certificate. Sorry the other diners had a bad experience. Mine was great! The service and the food were excellent! Had the ribs and they were tops! I've been to rib places that are well known and had worse. Since it was my first time here they gave us a complimentary appetizer of the flat breads which was also excellent. Also had a delicious fresh spinach salad. Yes, it is a little pricey, maybe not for everyday dining, but worth it!

I'm pretty easy going and not a restaurant snob whatsover, but this place was really bad.
After waiting in the bar for about 30 minutes for a table we were seated in the back corner of the bar, directly in-front of the Ice bin and the waitstaff computer. The "bar" seating is not open seating, and offers zero privacy. 1/2 of the tables are right next to barstools used by those waiting for a table, so that there are several people peering directly down on your table the entire meal. All The tables were very close together (one side of them sharing a bench for seating, so it felt like the four gents next to us were in our party.
Menu was very limited and VERY overpriced. As we ordered at 7:45 on a Saturday night, we were told the nightly special of Prime rib had run out. My bone in ribeye was $32, and very medicore. It was mushy, and i could cut it with a fork alone. My girfriend's filet was good, but salty. Waiter was totally indifferent to our meal. I certainly don't like the obnoxious "Chochkie's" approach of hardselling apps, but a slight interest in our experience is nice. This guy was like a CTA booth worker, a mumbling zombie. Took him 15 minutes to bring our check while we sat, waiting.
In all, it's "TGI Fridays" quality food and ambiance at Morton's prices. Not recommended whatsoever.

The food was good, but the service was just awful. the hostess was argumentative and confused during a seating conflict and the manager stepped in and caused an actual raging scene in front of several diners! very strange. we have eaten at just about every lettuce entertain you restaurant in the chicago area and never ever had such unprofessional treatment! great food, but at these prices we can get great food lots of other places and good service as well! will not ever be returning!

Went on a Saturday night with reservation, which I recommend. Portions were very large. Food was delicious. Lots of senior citizens seem to go to this place. Very friendly waitstaff and manager.Wish I lived closer. Great place to take a large family. Highly recommend the beef ribs w/ bbq, flat bread and sharing the chocolate brownie sundae.

We've had good food here in the past, but this last dinner visit was not one to write home about. The ribs were awful. There wasn't nearly enough meat on them and there was too much fat. For $21 if you can't do them right, don't offer them!

First time here. Waiter offerred us complimentary flat bread. It was so good we ordered more. The tenderloin tails were delicious. Be sure to make a reservation, we went on Saturday and it was pretty crowded.

From the first ice cold martini, to the warm loaf of bread, chopped salad and finally the fabulous ribs, everything is wonderful!

Excellent food. Try the calamari or array of flatbreads for an appetizer. Spinach salad is fresh and has a wonderfully light but tasty dressing. For entrees, you can't go wrong with the ribs or the whitefish in lemon sauce. My wife really enjoyed the Michigan Cherry martinis as well. For dessert, the apple streudel is outstanding.
