The irreverent Streeterville spot, which has been slinging stiff cocktails and stainless steel buckets of ribs to Navy Pier tourist types and lost locals since 1988, relocated to this River North address in fall 2008. The menu features messy stuff like barbecue ribs and chicken, catfish, and shrimp any style; anything that can be served in a bucket, is. Dick's is famous for its raucous, New Orleans-style Mardi Gras parties, but this place is always jumpin'. The back room along the boat slip walkway has TVs at each end, often tuned to big games. Stop by for Sunday brunch, which includes a Beatles tribute band, a bloody mary bar and all-you-can-eat homestyle eats. Our favorites: crab cake Benedict, biscuits and gravy, and buttery Belgian waffles.
