Somewhat disappointed

I chose this restaurant for a night out with friends because of it's close proximity to Davenport's, which was our main destination, and because of the high ratings on Metromix. I was pretty disappointed. At one point, we were the only table on a beautiful Saturday night and we had to keep flagging our waiter to take our order or refill our drinks. The food was decent, especially for the price. I don't think I would go back, mainly becuase of the poor service.

For Wicker Park, this is the place to be. With exceptional service, atmosphere and dining you cannot go wrong. Josh Brown has done a fine job in renovating the bar and giving it a buzz with his staff. As a business man I love the way SWIG goes out of its way to accomodate your late night needs with private parties and birthdays. Keep up the great work and I look forward to stopping in soon...

Great food and excellent service- had a lot of fun-played great music but wasn't too loud that you couldn't talk over dinner- recommend the Mac and Cheese- tastes like home cooking
