This place has the WORST bar food ever! The only nice thing about our dining experience was we were outside. We had the onion rings for an appetizer and they were not cooked through. Is place is known for their burgers, so I ordered the cajun burger. There was absolutely nothing cajun about it. I had to season it myself after I got it. For what we paid and what we got I will never ever darken the doors of Jimmy's again. Good luck if you are trying the place.

I have visited Naperville on a number of occasions and have walked past this eating establishment nearly every time I visit. This past weekend I and my family chose Jimmy's for our meal and I cannot express emphatically enough how poor of an experience we had. I ordered the Ahi Tuna sandwich, thinking that it sounded like a nice alternative to a greasy burger. When my meal arrived, the tuna was cold and very unappealing. Also, my wife and in-laws both ordered meals that had chicken in them, and the chicken was cooked beyond the point of gustatory appeal.
The other reviews on this board reference poor quality of service, and our experience was no less than consistent with others' experiences. For having spent nearly $10 on a sandwich, I had expected much better quality in my dining experience.
Given the broad dining options in downtown Naperville, I strongly encourage all to spend their hard-earned money in an establishment that produces more consistent & higher quality meals as well as treats their customers with less indifference.

I've been here many times and the experience unfortuantely depends on who's serving or bartending that night. Overall the service staff is very friendly and pretty quick but like any restaurant there are those few that make you want to pull your hair out. The drink specials here are very competitive with the rest of downtown naperville $2 bottles, $3 pints on certain days etc. Shots run from $5 plus depending. . ie a jaeger bomb is $7, shot of jack is $6.50. Its a fun relaxing place to hang out with friends during the week but come Thurs-Sat night it turns into a college bar type atmosphere. It's definetly worth going there during the summer time if you can get a seat on the patio. The food overall is worth the money. Its nothing out of the world but some of the better bar food that i've eaten in the area.

I went there on Tuesday of this past week and I had a horrible experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It took forever to get my food and the service was horrible. If you want bad service and medioker food than this is the place to go!!!

Report This ReviewHorrible! the staff is rude. A bunch of kids that have no manners are running this place. The food is un-edible! Who ever this Jimmy guy is needs to learn how to run a restaurant. too many choices in naperville so he better get with the program!
Report This ReviewJimmy's is a great place to grab a few drinks have a bite and enjoy one of the best patios ive seen.
Lot's of great people working there.
(Mark the manager was great)
Over priced is right an understatement! This place just sucks they don't welcome people who are looking to have fun...Don't waste your time just go across the street to the other bars and have a blast.
Report This ReviewIf you are looking for crummy food, overpriced drinks, uncomfortable seating, and a unaccomadating waitstaff this is your place!! A visit every couple of years would even be too much. Blah.
Report This ReviewWe were out with another couple and their infant and came in here for lunch thinking we could find a decent burger.
They did have a high chair but the 4 adults were somewhat cramped into a booth. We also found a previous patron's shopping at our table, so our table was not thoroughly cleaned before we were sat there.
The table server was clearly more interested in something other than us paying customers, it seemed other tables got the same treatment.
The food was mediocre.
We will not be coming here again. Next time we're in downtown Naperville, hopefully Heaven on Seven will then be open, or else we'll stop by Hugo's on the north side of downtown, which we heard is basically a more casual Gibsons.
Thanks, but no thanks, Jimmy, don't care to know you.
