This is my neighborhood joint, so I always give it the benefit of the doubt. The food is good. But admittingly, the service does usually stink---rude wait staff and VERY slow. You'd expect more than one waitress to be working for Monday Night Football when the Bears are playing. Full house but one waitress means long waits for beer, seating, and food. Unfortunately we ordered the beer sampler....which she told us would take extra long because the bar orders were so backed up. And where are the High Def flat screen TVs that EVERY other sports bar has??? Time for Jak's to step up and invest in the service and the atmosphere.
