New menu...6 new craft beers on tap and new bottles, but where you can still find the old standbys. Worth another look...definitely a place I could find myself coming back to every week. New menu rocks and Chef/Owner has really put a lot of thought into refreshing the place. Food is beyond better than run of the mill bar food and remains very reasonably priced. Very out of character for the location and worth seeking out...and free parking lot!

I normally park and eat at Schaller's Pump before Sox games, but their closed before day games on Sundays. So I tried Cobblestone. The back patio is surprisingly nice. The cajun chicken sandwich was delicious. However, I was a little irritated when the waitress kept refilling our cokes, only to find out she charged us for each refill. (granted, I should've been drinking beer...but hey...I had a rough night before the game)
I agree with the summary...the inside is very quiet and dark. Nothing to write home about.
All in all...not my favorite place to park and eat before a game, but if Schaller's is closed on Sundays...I'd go back.

Cobblestones has the most tender ribeye sandwich. It's a must try.
Report This ReviewCobblestuff = good stuff. Contrary the the metromix review, it is not all over 35 and you are free to shout if you want. The north side yuppie who wrote this review apparently went to Cobblestone once.
I also recommend walking down the street to 37th & Parnell for a 1.25 hot dog. Ask the couple for their home made giardinara. You can't get this in Wrigleyville.. and if you could, it would cost 6 bucks.
Report This ReviewI love the food and the atmosphere!!
