Went for breakfast today - bad food, decent service, not a good value. Denver omlette came with mushrooms, and was tiny. Potatoes were cold. Sausage was very good. Great outdoor seating, but not worth sitting outside if the food is bad. Heard someone else complain that they waited 35 minutes for cereal. Will not be back as there are plenty of other options in the area.

I've never received such bad service! The waitress ignored us most of the evening, was rude when she took our order, didn't offer to have us change tables when the air conditioning started to drip on us, and served us freezer-burned gelato. I won't go back and recommend you don't either.

I was walking down rush street and just had enouph of the crowd. I stopped at the Talbott Hotel looking for a quiet place to have a drink. I ended up being there for 3hours. Sstaff was friendly and the drinks were great. Even the manager stopped and talked to me for a few. On my next trip to Chicago I will definetly be visiting Basils

Basils is a great hideout just off of rush street. Drinks are fantastic and the ambiance and music are great. I would reccomend this place highly for an afternoon or early evening cocktail.

This place is great! The bar is like stepping into an old time bar. This place has great food. The bartenders will be happy to mix you your favforite cocktail and the wine list is out of this world.

Just stopped in for a quick sandwich and cocktail after a long seminar...I stayed all nite.

Congratulations on having a bartender like Kevin in your establishment!. Besides being one of the friendliest and polite hotel employees I have ever met, he is an amazing resource of information, restaurant suggestions and conversation.

He makes a great cocktail too! Ask him to make you a hurricane drink from his native New Orleans! Wow!

Worth a trip in just to chat with Kevin!
