Anywhere you sit at the new Rookies location in Elgin, you'll spy sports on at least two to three TVs. With 26 sets (including projection screens), thuis bar has become a hub for sports-watching since opening in April 2008. Sizeable appetizer platters, burgers and gyros fresh off the spit provide fuel for fans. Expect a crowd of families during the day, with a more mixed crowd after 10 p.m. for karaoke on Thursdays and a video DJ on weekend nights.
