This transitioning Wrigleyville spot started life as Purgatory Pizza, but in late August, owner Christopher Peckat (who's also behind Risque Cafe next door) ditched the pizzas and began rolling out a burger menu. Expect more of a bar vibe from the new spot, which will be called Park Ave. and feature a burger lineup 10 strong plus a rotating burger of the week and burger of the month. The menu's still evolving, but options should include some gussied-up patties--there's one foie gras- and peach-topped creation in the works. If you're not into beef, chicken breasts and veggie burgers will be available too. Beer offerings are significantly simpler than at Risque next door, with four beers on tap and 15 or so by the bottle.

I'll keep it simple. High on price. Low on taste. Service is average. Your money is better spent at Pizza Hut. Seriously.
