With plenty of upscale bars in the area, Murphy's of Arlington Heights lets drinkers get back to the basics. The neighborhood bar and restaurant opened in 2006 in the strip-mall spot formerly occupied by Blue Moon Restaurant and Lounge, and is still looking to bring back the crowds. Murphy’s serves up wraps, pizza, burgers and domestic buckets with daily lunch and drink specials. On the weekends, the dining room tables are cleared away for classic rock bands (Friday) and karaoke (Saturday).
