used to be a good bar, but not anymore

Maple Ave Pub used to be a good bar, cheap drinks, friendly service, good DJ's... But that has changed. Drink and food prices raised and it's no longer a bargain. The service has gotten so bad. We used to go for the DJ's, Erik, and Gabriel and Mikey Shotz. We were there last week and didn't see any of the DJ's that make the place ok. $6 jagerbomb is hardly a special in this area. Bartender's were to busy talking to their friends to serve us.. Waitress took over 20 min's for out drinks... Stay away, this place has gone down hill. They still have good lunch specials but that's about it... Not worth the trip

The bar is very neighborhood friendly. They sponor a bunch of softball teams, have the best pizza I've had in the area, arcade games, bags, pool, nice atmosphere. All the workers are upbeat an friendly and the drink prices are great for the area! I know the 4 lakes Lodge is nearby but that place has completely gone downhill. The live bands and live DJs are also a blast on the weekend. I was up there for a karaoke night and the bar was completely packed and it was a tuesday.
Great bar.
