Lincoln Square Lanes

One of Chicago's oddities--a second-floor bowling alley--Lincoln Square Lanes sits atop a hardware store, and comes complete with a pressed tin ceiling as well as a balcony for viewing bowling games in progress. Open bowling is available at a mere $4 a game and shoe rental is only $3. Beer is also reasonably priced. The bar has booths and large windows for observing the games. Leagues run from September through May, so call ahead for open bowling during these months.
