John Barleycorn River North

Barleycorn owner Sam Sanchez tells us he signed a letter of intent to open a fourth bar in a new building in development for 518 N. State Street, just south of Rock Bottom. This location will have a similar layout as the bar's Schaumburg outpost, with a bar and dining room on the first floor (10,000 square feet) and large dancefloor on the second floor (12,000 square feet). What will make this JB different than the others, though, is a 7,000-square-foot roof deck equipped with its own kitchen.
