Like the city's first two outposts, this downtown locale is named after the 14th-century epithet given to the wife of King Charles I. Complete with mahogany furnishings, brass trims and British memorabilia, Elephant & Castle serves classic pub grub such as fish and chips or shepherd's pie, as well as Stuffed Yorkshire Pudding, Cider Glazed Salmon and Guinness Meatloaf. With a congenial atmosphere, along with a plethora of ales, Elephant & Castle emulates the pubs of jolly ole England, by way of Vancouver of course--home to the franchise.

I've been to this location and one in DC. I've enjoyed myself both times but the food is a bit pricey. Fish n' Chips is the way to go!
