Been there 2 times & one time too many

Overpriced drinks & the worst service I've ever experienced. Slow, confused the orders, ordered the wrong items, rude when questions were asked regarding what was delivered instead of what was ordered. Plan to never ever return regardless of who invites me for what occasion.

This bar rocks!

I always feel welcomed here. I live nearby and this is one of favorite spots. The drink specials are pretty good. Specially if you like Patron Fridays as I call them.

Service is not great

I go to cactus with coworkers because it is right across the street from my job. Everytime i go here the servers seem like they are too busy to concentrate on their customers. The door guy can be a pain when you walk in because he makes you feel like you are using a fake id or something whenever you walk in, he even corrected one of my friends and told him that he had green eyes when his license said he had blue eyes (he has blue green eyes). I like the tuesday specials at this place, you wont find a cheaper beer in the loop on Tuesdays til 6pm. So overall this is an okay place that is worth your money on Tuesdays but any other day i would pass.

Great Place to start your weekend

The girls after work met there on Friday night around 5 pm. The place was busy but a kind doorman by the name of Steve found us a good table. Our waitress was fun and kept the buckets of Corona coming. We took advantage of their cheap appetizer menu to get some food in our system, before we did the Patron shots that were on special. Overall it was a fun place to unwind after a long week in front of my computer in the offfice.

$5.00 blue moon pitchers and a patio the size of a basketball court.
Tuesday are packed and if you get there before 6:00 PM appetizers are $2.95.

I'll be back!

I went here for lunch on a Tuesday. The place wasn't all that crowded, but I could see it being a hopping place for the late night crowd. I got the crab cake sandwich and it was outstanding! If you go there, you have to get it! It tasted sooo good!!! I will definitely come back and eat it again. I can't wait for the warm weather to come because it looks like a great place to spend a summer night at. Service was average for the type of place. I really like how they use the little computer to take orders and charge the credit card right at the table side. Very convenient (coming from my experience as a server in the past!).

The waitstaff there is horrible....
By JD from Chicago, IL, June 1, 2007

The waitstaff there is horrible. They ignore customers, get annoyed at you when you order a drink, and basically make you feel that they would rather be watching linoleum curl that deal with you. When we got sick of dealing with the waitress, we went to the bar and were greeted with an annoyed "What?" from the bartender. I have been here before it wasn't that bad- but I can safely say that neither my friend nor I will ever go back. The only reason it got 1 star is that it would let me give a negative rating.

The drink specials are great...

The drink specials are great sometimes and it can be a great place to go early in the evening before it gets crowded. The service is pretty terrible so once it starts to fill up it's impossible to get drinks or food.

I wish I could give...
By Kristine from Chicago, IL, July 12, 2006

I wish I could give lower than a 1 star to this place - it is awful. We went on a Tuesday night for $3 pitchers (4 women) and were ignored for the entire 2 hours we were there! We had a table and waitresses never stopped to take our drink or food order. Of course, there were tables of men on either side of us who had waitresses flirting with them every 10 minutes. When I asked the door man to send a waitress to our table, he rudely informed me that they were really busy and I should be more patient. I told him we had been waiting over an hour. He told me I was being rude and I could take my money elsewhere if I wanted. Well, we took his advice and left and spent our money elsewhere.
