This tap in the Financial District is from the same ownership group responsible for The Martini Bar and The Franklin Tap. Cactus, a big, airy bar boasts over 10,000 square feet for a crowd predominantly made of frat boys, current and former. Traders and other worker bees stop in for lunch (the menu offers salads, burgers and award-winning "Death Valley" chicken wings), but the after-work crowd is what the bar is known for. Daily drink specials, the sheer size of the venue, and its proxmity to the Board of Trade attracts a trader-heavy crowd. However, Cactus has had its share of celebrity sightings--who knows who you might run into.
