We went to Andies last night to celebrate my mothers birthday. There were 14 of us.At the time of the reservation we told the manager that we were celebrating a birthday. He was very friendly and wanted to know the birthday persons name. When we arrived at the restaurant and saw the menu it said in black and white that you get a free entree on your birthday as long as you make your reservation 72 hours in advance- we thought that was great since we made the reservation 72 hrs in advance. After eating the very mediocre food in a very bland and old decor we recieved a bill for hundreds of dollars and no free entree. We asked the manager about it and he then tells us we needed to print the coupon from the internet. If the menu had said something about a coupon I would have understood- but there was no disclaimer. He then offered to give us $5.00 off. Luckily we can afford to pay for all the entrees. The $5.00 off was a joke. This was such a bad business move on his part it was laughable. Most importantly the food was not very good. I would never go back there and never recommend this restaurant to anyone. There are too many great (even just good) restaurants out there to even bother with Andies!
Report This Reviewfirst, the place was BLASTING opera music. not the nice kind that's soothing, but the anxiety-laden kind that makes you nervous. and it was so loud that i had to consciously make an effort to talk above the screaming opera woman in the background.
second, the service was HORRIBLE. they didn't give us any bread, and completely forgot to bring the table next to us their appetizer. when my friend asked for more water, they came and refilled only her glass and left (when mine was nearly empty too). after that it was a big hassle to get anything from the waitstaff. we waited about 30 minutes for our appetizer, and about an additional 45 minutes AFTER THAT for our entrees. that's ridiculous, because the place was half full.
third, my mojito tasted like kerosene.
the ONLY positive thing i can say is that my dish, the mediterranean basil chicken, was absolutely delicious. and that's the only nice thing i have to say about andie's.
Report This ReviewThe food is only very okay at best. The service is horrible! The manager appearently doesn't know anything about customer service or about customer retention. If you order delivery from here, you better order from somewhere else too - because Andie's never arrived!!!
Report This ReviewLast three deliveries were an hour and a half until food arrived, and our orders were wrong last three times. Each time we requested the food we ordered to be delivered correctly, and each time they tried to make us just take a credit and free dessert. Can I eat a credit for dinner instead of food? The food used to be great and now it is nothing special. I am sticking with Rezas. It is next door. I only wish they delivered, because Andies service and food are not gonna keep me coming back. Credits aren't filling.

Report This ReviewOrdered in from Andies last night. We live in the neighborhood so the plan was to call in the order and then walk over to pick it up. When we got there, they told us that we had accidentally ordered for the other location north on Foster (damn!)... the host happily jumped in his car and drove to the other location to pick it up for us! I've never received that kind of willing, going-out-of-my-way-to-serve-you service. We were truly impressed. Once we got the food home, we were even more impressed! I wouldn't say it was the best meal of my life, but the shawarma and moroccan chicken that we ordered was truly satisfying (and they threw in some free pita - which was AMAZING). That along with the excellent service has guaranteed that we will definitely be repeat customers.
Report This ReviewI have been to Andie's twice now and have been SO impressed with how friendly and helpful the staff have been (including Andie himself!) My friend and I recently went and we brought our dogs, so we sat outside. The staff were so accommodating to our needs and really bent over backwards to make sure we (and our dogs) had a pleasant visit. The food was outstanding, and when we ordered a bottle of wine that we didn't like, Andie replaced it with another bottle on the menu without batting an eyelash. We had the curried chicken couscous and some lamb dish with eggplant and both were excellent. I will definitely be back, though I don't live in the neighborhood. Andie's ROCKS!
Report This ReviewThis place is disgusting! I ordered from them last night and my roommate and I were cracking up at how terrible the food was. Most of it was inedible. I will NEVER order from them again. I'm sticking with Semiramis from now on. If you still decide to go to Andie's beware of the awful falafal!!

Report This ReviewA great Greek selection. Wonderful food and friendly service. A little pricy, but it's worth it for the great taste.
