Since its opening in 1986, more than 1 million people have attended
events and exhibits at the $14.4 million visual and performing arts
center. Productions include professional and student theater, music,
dance, comedy and opera. Resident professional companies include The
Buffalo Theatre Ensemble, DuPage Opera Theatre, Jazz Ensemble, New
Classic Singers and New Philharmonic. In addition to its 795-seat
mainstage, 200-seat soft-thrust stage, and 60-seat "black box," the
center also has its own art gallery.
