I don't know what to think

Went here with a group of friends on a Friday night around 930p. The place was almost empty. There was a lady doing an acoustic show over on what I guess was the dance floor. She was pretty good. Drinks were good, I think they were all about 6 bucks, and it seemed as we ordered more, the glasses got bigger. We left the place around 11 and there still weren't too many people in there. Maybe the place picks up more for the late night, but we were celebrating 2 birthdays and needed some excitement. I'd probably come back though.

I just moved into the area recently, so I just discovered this place. Went in last Thursday, around 8pm and while there wasn't much of a crowd there, it was perfect for an early evening get together with my friends. We had some really good food, some cheap drinks, all served by a wonderful bartender as they had no waitress. Great music & pleasent atmosphere, I don't understand why more people don't know about this place.
I am told the place gets a bit crazy late at night but for an early evening out with my friends it was great.

I took the opposite route from many who have panned this establishment. Looking to avoid the mash of the the crowds, we went in around 6:30 or 7 on a Friday evening for drinks before dinner at the Babareeba next door. We had the place virtually to ourselves, sat at a wonderful table adjacent to an open window, and enjoyed decent beer for a very good price ($2.50) served by a pleasant bartender. It really doesn't get much better than this if you're looking for a low key, solid and affordable place for drinks.
