Printworks is one of the smallest galleries in River North, but it is one of the best. There's always a fine exhibition of works on paper on view, often by important artists such as Hollis Sigler or Michiko Itatani. In addition, the drawers are filled with wonderful treasures, carefully handled and discussed by Sid Block and Bob Hiebert, the gallery's two enthusiastic owners. If there were a prize for 'nicest dealers,' Block and Hiebert would win. The gallery also is a member of the Chicago Art Dealers Association (www.artline.com).
