For a truly in-depth gallery experience visit the Chicago Printmakers Collaborative. One of several printmaking collaboratives throughout town, it provides artists the space and equipment they couldn't otherwise afford and it offers visitors a unique window into the artistic process. On most days you can watch artists create etchings, lithographs, relief prints and more. You can also visit the collaborative's gallery or -- best of all -- sign up for a printmaking class and create a masterpiece of your own.
