The DuPage Children's Museum is a unique discovery center filled with innovative hands-on math, science and art exhibits and programs for children. Learning neighborhoods offer the following activities:
Creativity Connections - Art, math and science intersect as kids play with shadows, delight the senses in the Multi-Sensory Zone, experience awesome Light Effects and explore the properties of sound.
Build It - Kids are the inventors, engineers and scientists as they design and build in this special world using real tools and wood.
WaterWays - Kids can sink, float, scoop and pour, blow bubbles that glow, build dams and experience the force of a real waterfall crashing through them.
Make It Move - Kids create pathways where balls roll, jump, swerve and drop. Also includes gravity experiments with inclined planes and balls.
AirWorks - This "piece of the sky" lets kids blow air pipes, billow wind socks, move balls and create air powered art or fly a kite in the Walk-in Wind Tunnel to experience just how forceful air can be.
Young Explorers - Infants through two-year-olds can crawl, toddle, discover and play in these especially safe areas.
